Karmic Bonds

Updated: Apr 30

They’re fraught at the edges

Consumed by every distant remark

Made at their unfathomable existence.

They’re infuriating little beasts

Camouflaged to escape world order.

They’re unburied ophidians

That sail through our nerves under chapped skin

Shall I confess?

At a slithering speed

They’re violent at death and silent when alive

Yet die in vengeance against afterlife

Surviving on five pints of suspense

Half pint of chic masquerades

They’re slick campaigns of wizards

Taunting with Witcher’s eyes, professing,

But, I can’t find heart!

To which the spell replied,

Here, just copy and paste

And that’s how they taught him

How to trick.
